THE BARN

There are two buildings at the barn, the first houses a well-equipped gym, complete with rowing machine, cross trainer and treadmill, as well as free weights, if that's not your idea of relaxing, then walk quickly past and step into the main barn where the relaxation actually begins!

A large open plan, oak and glass space maximises the views, with a handmade kitchen to the left, extremely well equipped with Aga, wok burner, steam oven and kitchen cabinet tv to name just a very few of the gadgets we discovered! As well as a breakfast bar in the kitchen, there's a large dining area, complete with a table for eight and a wood burning stove. Take a step-down and you're into the sitting room, which takes full advantage of the wood burner too. Dedicated to lazing, there are large leather sofas, a huge tv and more oak and glass windows to enjoy the views from. There's underfloor heating throughout the downstairs, powered by a ground source heat pump, alongside the UV panels, this barn has been rebuilt keeping its carbon footprint in mind.

Up the oak stairs, you'll find three bedrooms, the master bedroom has a super kingsize bed, television, private balcony overlooking the hills and an impressive bathroom, including his and hers basins, standalone bath and wet room style shower, topped off with soft fluffy towels included and plenty of storage. There are an additional two double bedrooms and a "jack and jill" style wet room, in either room the owner will gladly add an additional single bed to stretch the barns sleeping to eight persons.

Outside, you'll find a pretty garden to the rear of the barn, with stunning countryside, a hot tub, outdoor furniture, Weber bbq and firepit, there's plenty of logs included in the stay, so every reason to sit outside and watch the sun go down.
